This authentic US Military M-65 field jacket is a genuine piece of 1980s surplus, featuring the classic Woodland camouflage pattern. Manufactured under contract DLA100-84-C-0721 by So Sew Styles, Inc. in 1984, this heavy-duty utility coat represents the standard-issue cold weather garment used by US forces during the late Cold War era. The rugged construction and functional design remain a hallmark of military-grade outerwear.
• Four front bellows pockets with snap flap closures
• Heavy-duty brass zipper with storm flap and concealed hood compartment
• 50% Nylon / 50% Cotton sateen outer shell with 100% Cotton lining
• Adjustable drawstring waist and hem with Velcro sleeve cuffs
• Made in USA with authentic military contract and care labeling
Condition: Very good vintage condition with minor signs of service wear consistent with age. The fabric remains sturdy with vibrant camo colors and no significant holes or tears. The interior care label features a previous owner's name written in ink, which adds to the garment's unique historical character and provenance.
