About Us — The Rewards Marketplace

The Rewards Marketplace (shop.fredgoodwill.org) is the official online thrift store of Rappahannock Goodwill Industries (RGI) — a nonprofit organization that has been serving the Fredericksburg, Virginia region since 1966. When you shop here, every dollar you spend goes directly toward creating local jobs and helping people in our community build lasting careers.

Who We Are

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is a CARF-accredited nonprofit headquartered in Fredericksburg, Virginia. For nearly 60 years, we've believed in the transformative power of work — that a meaningful job is one of the most powerful forces for dignity, purpose, and independence in a person's life.

We serve individuals and families across Fredericksburg and the surrounding counties, including Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline, Culpeper, Orange, Louisa, Richmond, Westmoreland, Rappahannock, Essex, and Northumberland.

Yes and no. Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is an independent, locally governed nonprofit that is a member of Goodwill Industries International. All revenue stays local — it does not go to a national headquarters.

Is this the same as ShopGoodwill.com?

No. ShopGoodwill.com is an auction-based platform operated by other Goodwill chapters. The Rewards Marketplace offers fixed-price shopping with no bidding, exclusively for Rappahannock Goodwill Rewards members.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes. Most items ship via FedEx to addresses nationwide. Please note we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Some large or heavy items are available for local pickup only. Pickup is by appointment at our Fredericksburg location, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM ET.

Our headquarters is at 8516 Jamison Lane, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. We have retail locations across the Fredericksburg region. Items on this site ship nationwide or are available for local pickup.
