A charming piece of hand-thrown studio art pottery, this lidded casserole dish or bean pot showcases a rustic aesthetic. The piece features a speckled, off-white glaze over a durable stoneware body, accented with hand-painted cobalt blue stripes and a floral or branch motif. The form, including the looped handles and lid, indicates skilled craftsmanship. Although signed on the bottom, the artist's signature is indistinct, making this a unique, one-of-a-kind piece of functional art.
