This is a characteristic example of the decorative lusterware that was popular during the mid-20th century. Often produced in Japan for the export market, these ornate ceramic pieces feature a pearl-like iridescent glaze and hand-applied details. This double-handled vase with its three-dimensional floral motif represents a classic decorative style from the era, intended to add a touch of elegance to the home.
