This is a handsome vintage ceramic figure, hand-finished from a mold in 1974, a popular hobby during the era. The piece depicts a traditional East Asian sage or scholar, rendered with fine detail in the facial features and flowing robes. The light celadon-style green glaze gives the statue a classic, antique-like appearance, making it a distinctive decorative piece that reflects the Mid-Century interest in Asian-inspired decor.

• Hand-marked on the base "P.A. '74", confirming the creation date.
• Slip-cast ceramic with a light green, slightly crackled glaze.
• The hollow-body construction is typical for ceramic pieces of this size and era.
• Measures approximately 15.5" H x 5.5" L x 4.5" W.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, displaying beautifully with vibrant glaze. There are no major chips or cracks on the primary body of the figure. A small, stable hairline crack is visible on the unglazed bottom base, and there is minor shelf wear consistent with its age. Please see photos for detailed condition.
