A charming set of two hand-carved wooden decorative items, likely of Indian origin. This style of intricate "Jali" or lattice carving is a traditional handicraft. The main piece is an elephant figurine with a second, smaller elephant carved within, visible through the lattice. These are popular with collectors of folk art and animal figures.

Condition: The wooden carvings are in good condition with no major chips or cracks. The elephant's tusks are intact. The included display base has a circular glue residue mark and surface scuffs where one of the pieces was previously attached.
