Kandy Esala Perahera Festival
Modern Sri Lankan Ceramic Magnet Set
This is a complete lot of 19 souvenir magnets depicting scenes from the famous Kandy Esala Perahera, or the Festival of the Tooth, a historic annual procession held in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The illustrations capture the vibrant energy of the festival, which honors the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha. The set includes two distinct colorways for a dynamic collection. The lot includes:
• 12 Black magnets with white line art
• 7 White magnets with black line art
• Detailed illustrations feature decorated elephants, Kandyan dancers, and drummers.
• Made from a glossy, durable ceramic-like material with full magnetic backing.
• The black and white art style offers a modern take on a traditional subject.
• Individual magnet sizes vary, with the largest elephant piece measuring approx. 3" wide.
Condition: New condition. The magnets appear unused and are still attached to their original paperboard display. There are no chips, cracks, or fading on any of the pieces. The graphics are sharp and clear. The display board has minor edge wear from storage, but the magnets themselves are pristine.
