Rappahannock Goodwill — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, online store, and related services operated by Rappahannock Goodwill (“Rappahannock Goodwill,” “RGI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as any additional terms and policies referenced here or available by link (collectively, the “Services”). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products and services to you. Your use of the Services is also subject to Shopify’s terms and policies as applicable.

 

 

1. Online Store Terms

  • You must be the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or use the Services with the consent of a parent/guardian.

  • You may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you must comply with all applicable laws.

  • You must not transmit worms, viruses, malicious code, or otherwise interfere with the operation or security of the Services.

  • Content you provide (other than payment card data) may be transferred unencrypted over networks. Payment card data is always encrypted during transfer.

  • Certain products may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities.

  • We may limit sales on a case-by-case basis and discontinue products at any time.

  • We may refuse or cancel orders and limit quantities. If we change or cancel an order, we may notify you using the contact details provided.

  • Orders appearing to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors may be restricted.

  • You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information and to update it promptly.

We may provide access to third-party tools “as is.” Your use is at your own risk and subject to third-party terms.

We are not responsible for content on third-party websites linked through our Services. Review their policies before transacting.

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or proposals (“Feedback”), you agree we may use them without restriction or obligation to you. You are solely responsible for your content.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rappahannock Goodwill and its affiliates, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of any law.

If any provision is deemed unlawful or unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

These Terms remain effective unless terminated by you or us. We may terminate access without notice if you fail to comply with them.

17. Entire Agreement; No Waiver

These Terms, together with our policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

18. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, with jurisdiction in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on the site. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.

20. Mobile Messaging (SMS) Terms

By consenting to our SMS program, you agree to receive recurring messages (order updates, promotions). Message/data rates may apply. Opt out by texting STOP. For help, text HELP or email ecommerce@fredgoodwill.org.

21. Returns & Refunds

All sales are final, except for items damaged in shipment. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us so we may assist in filing a claim with the carrier. See our full Return Policy for details.

22. Shipping & Risk of Loss

You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Once your order is delivered to the carrier, risk of loss passes to you. We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

23. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services—including text, graphics, logos, and product images—is the property of Rappahannock Goodwill or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.
